First United Presbyterian Church of Newville had its beginnings in 1764 along the Big Spring. The congregation worships at 111 W. Big Spring Avenue, Newville, PA 17241. It conducts a vital ministry and program for all ages. It is intergenerational, warm, friendly, loving and caring. It is a church that nurtures in the Christian faith.
First United Presbyterian Church is a mission minded congregation supporting local, national and world-wide ministries. It is related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) Facilities are used by various groups in the community.

During office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., the inner door of the church building is locked. To gain access to the building, pick up the phone outside the door and push the yellow button. This is being done as a security measure.
